Harold E. Burrows, 85 of Decatur died Thursday September 29, 2016 in Heritage
Manor Health Care Center, Mt. Zion.

A graveside service to celebrate Harold’s life will be 11:00 am Saturday October 8,
2016 at Lester Barnett Cemetery.  There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and
Care is in charge of the arrangements.

Harold was born IN March of 1931 in Decatur son of Benjamin and Velma Burrows.
He served in the U.S. Army as a medic aide during the Korean War. Harold was a self
employed painter. He enjoyed old country music and all types of gospel. He loved to
read books and anything to do with old items and antiques.

Surviving are his daughter, Debbie (Larry) Creek, of Decatur, son, Charles Burrows,
grandchildren, Sherry Clark and Phillip Creek, two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Virginia Stein, one brother, James
Burrows and granddaughter, Felicia Strode.
