for Firestone Tire, and more recently, Mathias Farms. He was a member of Heartland Community Church and Battle Buddies for Christ. Jonathan received
Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour May 11, 2014 and was baptized at Heartland Church August 27th 2014.  He was as passionate about leading people,
especially men, to Christ as he was about racing.  He had recently begun leading a men’s ministry on Monday evenings, Battle Buddies for Christ.  Every week
Jonathan would invite everyone on his Facebook page to attend church with him.  He loved his church and his church family at Heartland.  Thank you for
helping him change his life.

Jonathan was passionate about dirt track racing at Macon Speedway, from go carts at age 11, to hornets – here he won the UMP Amateur Hornet
Championship in 2010. He moved up to pro hornets, street stock, and he won several heat races his first year. In 2014, he won the World Amateur Hornet
Championship. Jonathan loved racing and children.  He coached a YMCA basketball team this past spring that 2 of his nephews and his buddy Jonny played
on.  He was so proud of them and loved playing with them and making them smile.
