Wanda Sprague, 87, of Decatur, died on March 25, 2015, in her home with her family by her side.
Wanda was born In March of 1928, in Decatur, the daughter of Fernie and Cindy Blankenship. She was happily married to her loving husband, William
Sprague, and he preceded her in death in October of 2013.
Wanda is survived by her two brothers: Dale (his wife, Pat) Blankenship of Vandalia, and Darrel Blankenship of Decatur; one sister, Nancy (her husband, Jim)
Leslie of Florida; one son, Charles (his wife, Alice) Tarvin of Decatur; 18 grandchildren, including Scott, whom Wanda raised as her own; 41 great
grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Sonny Tarvin, two daughters, one granddaughter, and three great
Wanda’s memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2015, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL.
