Chipton Edward “Logan” Gurley, 51, of Decatur, died Monday May 29th 2017.
Logan’s wish was to be cremated and there will be no services. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Services is assisting the family
with the arrangements.
He was able to help someone in need by donating his corneas and tissue.
Chip was born in February of 1966 in Decatur, he was the son of Beverly Pfeifer and Richard Clow. He previously
worked at K Mart and Spare Time Lanes. He was a dreamer and loved his boys and grandkids unconditionally.
Surviving are his sons Kyle and Billy Gurley; stepson Chuck Bilbrey; grandchildren Blake and Aria Gurley; brother
Gary Pfeifer; sisters Shannon Livingston and Tawney Pfeifer; sister in law Stephanie Pfeifer and brother in law Sam
Livingston and lots of nieces and nephews, whom he loved so much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a granddaughter.
Chip loved life and will be reunited with family and won’t have to suffer any more. We will miss his wit, imagination
