Ryan was an avid sports fan. He played basketball for MacArthur High School and would
always get a team together for the annual Gus Macker tournament. He spent much of his
free time watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bulls, NASCAR, and always had
continual hope for his Illini Basketball team. Ryan along with his brother David enjoyed
dirt track racing and spent many days together at the Eldora Speedway in Ohio as well as
the local Macon Speedway.  He liked fishing and camping and his favorite activity was to
cook on the grill and would often brag about his “skill on the grill”.  Ryan will be
remembered by his family and friends for his witty sense of humor and charming smile.
